The Georgetown Legal English Faculty and its programs have been pioneers at the forefront of legal English, drawing on their advanced knowledge of both law and linguistics to develop innovative approaches to the teaching of law and language since 2006.
We love thinking about and discussing the intersection between law and linguistics. And the purpose of this blog is to be able to share some of the ideas and discussions that we generate–for the benefit of students, for the benefit of our Georgetown University colleagues, and for the benefit of the greater legal English community.
